Four aliens carry a / an / the / X. X means that no article is needed.
Shoot the article that completes the sentence correctly.
Streaks: correct answers build a streak that increases your score multiplier (up to x5).
Shield charge: correct answers fill the seven-part charger. A full charger stores one shield charge (up to three).
Activate the shield: press the Shield button. This uses one stored charge and protects your ship for 5 seconds. The shield never activates automatically.
While the shield is active, wrong answers, alien shots and aliens reaching your ship are absorbed. Without an active shield, each event costs 1 life.
Three sectors: the background, enemy family and attacks change as you advance through the campaign.
Playable bosses: keep moving, dodge the clearly telegraphed attacks and shoot the boss until its health bar is empty.

Correct answers are worth more points (15 instead of 10), before the streak multiplier.
Aliens move 50% faster. Their movement speed increases by 10% every 250 points.
Every 2nd alien volley fires from two aliens instead of one.
